Breeder guarantees that the cat being sold is a purebred Ragdoll cat, with pedigree, and is eligible for registration with TICA and CFA. The kitten's litter will be registered with one of these organizations. 2. Breeder guarantees this to be a healthy kitten when delivered. The kitten will also be up to date on all appropriate vaccinations at the time of delivery. Breeder gives a 2 year health guarantee on any fatal genetic defects. If a genetic defect results in death within 2 years of purchase, TexRenRags will replace the ragdoll with another kitten from the next available litter. An autopsy/necropsy report from a certified Veterinarian will need to be sent within 5 days of death to confirm that it was indeed caused by genetics. Shipping is always the responsibility of the buyer. 3. The kitten is healthy to the best of our knowledge. TexRenRags recommends getting your Veterinarian to examine the kitten within 72 hours after receiving your kitten (excluding Saturday and Sunday). If any problems are suspected, please inform us immediately. Failure to do so will cancel the guarantee. Breeder is not responsible for any Veterinarian bills that may occur after delivery of the kitten for any given reason. Guarantees by Buyer: Please read carefully. Failure to comply with any of the following will cause the contract to be void. 1. Buyer guarantees that this will be an indoor cat. It will not be allowed to roam freely outside. 2. Buyer guarantees that under no circumstances will this kitten ever be sold, leased, or given away to any pet store, research laboratory, breeding mill, or similar facility. 3. Buyer guarantees that the kitten will not be declawed unless deemed necessary by a veterinarian. 4. Since this kitten is being purchased as a pet, buyer guarantees to have the kitten altered by the time the kitten reaches 8 months of age (with 5-6 months being the ideal age). At this time, the buyer will send a statement by a certified Veterinarian describing the kitten (gender, DOB, breed, and color) and the procedure completed. Breeder will then send the kitten’s papers for TICA and CFA registrations ASAP. Even if you do not want to register your kitten, you MUST still alter by the given date. Failure to do so relinquishes all buyer’s rights. 5. Buyer guarantees to provide the cat with a clean, pleasant environment, conducive to good health and with adequate space for exercise. The buyer will also buy quality kitten/cat food and provide adequate, indoor, and sanitary facilities. 6. Buyer guarantees to provide adequate veterinary care and up to date vaccinations. Buyer agrees to vaccinate this kitten as appropriate. Any significant health conditions during the cat's lifetime will be reported to TexRenRags. 7. If buyer decides that you can no longer keep the kitten, you agree to attempt to contact the seller first. If buyer transfers to another owner, you agree to inform the breeder of the transaction (for record purposes). We wish you and your new TexRenRags kitten a long and happy life together!
